Old Trafford side look to offload Brazilian.
Man United are readying a move to send Brazilian international Anderson to FC Porto on a loan deal according to Sports Direct News.
David Moyes hopes to eventually get rid of the 25 year old midfield flop on a permanent deal worth around £7m but is perhaps keen to use a temporary move away to act as a shop window for Anderson.
Man United will look to FC Porto to cover at least half of the player’s £67k a week wage packet and a move back to the Estadio Dragao could perhaps help to re-ignite a career that has been on the back burner for the best part of three years.
Anderson has also struggled with his fitness and weight over the past six and a half years and has made just two Premier League starts thus far this season.
This source claims a club ‘insider’ has stated;
“Anderson isn’t up to the standards required. He just hasn’t fulfiled his potential. If someone makes a decent bid for him in January he will be sold.”
Anderson has made a total of 173 appearances for Man United, scoring nine goals in the process.
