Emirates Stadium side target San Siro teenager.
Arsenal are readying a move to sign AC Milan youngster M’Baye Niang according to the Daily Express.
The 18 year old forward has previously been linked with interest from Chelsea and has impressed when called upon for first team action at the San Siro, however such action has been extremely limited, especially since the January arrival of striker Mario Balotelli from Man City.
The imminent arrival of Keisuke Honda and the return of Stephan El Shaarawy from injury will further stifle the French Under 21 international’s progress at the San Siro side and as such interest from Arsenal may tempt Niang.
Arsenal are thought to be ready to offer £6m for Niang but that’s not a bid that is likely to be anywhere near AC Milan’s valuation of a player considered one of the hottest young properties in European football.
Niang has started just one Serie A fixture this season and will be more than aware of Arsene Wenger’s willingness to trust to youth and as such a move to join Arsenal could offer the former Caen man a speedier career progression.
