Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp believes that Arsenal can go all the way in the Champions League this season and has back them to win it as long as they can avoid Bayern Munich, the Daily Star reports.

The Gunners secured an impressive 1-0 victory against Klopp’s men on Wednesday night thanks to a second half header from the in form Aaron Ramsey.

Dortmund won the reverse fixture at the Emirates two weeks ago by a score of 2-1, but Klopp now feels that he has seen enough of Arsene Wenger’s men to feel confident in backing them to take the crown this year.

“Yes (Arsenal can win the Champions League). They are young, healthy and good technicians,” Klopp said.

“They won a clever game tonight and could go to the final and win it, as long as they don’t play against Bayern Munich.”

Arsenal currently sit atop Group F and are in pole position to qualify for the knockout round as group winners and they will face Marseille at the Emirates Stadium on November 26, before travelling to Italy to face Rafa Benitez’s Napoli.

Klopp’s side must now avoid defeat to the high-flying Italians if they hope to make it through to the next stage of the tournament.

And despite results on Wednesday going against his side he still believes that they will be able to make it through.

“It is a very strong group and the positive news is that two wins and we will qualify,” he said.
