Serie A side keen on Stamford Bridge defender.
In form Serie A side Napoli will make a January offer for Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta according to talkSPORT.
Last term the former Marseille man was a pivotal member of the Blues first team set-up, making 43 starts in all competitions, but this season Jose Mourinho has barely used the Spaniard so interest from Naples may well tempt Azpilicueta as he looks to secure the regular first team football he needs to help secure a spot in Vicente del Bosque’s World Cup finals squad.
Azpilicueta has invariable seen his right-back spot taken by Branislav Ivanovic and hasn’t started a single Premier League fixture this season.
Rafa Benitez will be all too aware of the ability the 24 year old possesses and with Napoli riding high in Serie A, sitting in second spot having lost just once in 11 matches, a move to Naples becomes perhaps all the more plausible.
Chelsea are however apparently demanding at least £17.5m for the full-back, a fee that is quite an increase on the £6.5m the Blues spent to sign the player in August 2012.
