Bayern Munich have reportedly won the race to sign highly rated Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski according to the Sunday Mirror.

The Allianz Arena side will apparently welcome the 25 year old Bundesliga goal machine next summer with a pre-contract agreement to be penned by the Pole in January, a deal that will net him a £130k a week contract as well as a £10m signing on fee.

Such a move will be a huge disappointment to Jurgen Klopp’s side who would have hoped to have kept hold of Lewandowski or at the very least avoided losing another of their top talents to their domestic rivals having seen Mario Gotze make the same switch this summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Man United are all thought to be interested in Lewandowski but he seems set on a move to reigning Bundesliga and Champions League title holders Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski has been in fine goal scoring form over the past three years scoring 88 goals in 156 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
