Hugely popular Spanish outlet Punto Pelota have come up with something of a major exclusive with outspoken agent Francois Gallardo speaking on the show to reveal that a Barcelona star will demand a move to Real Madrid next week.
Gallardo has however decided to not reveal the mystery player in question but does state that is a huge star at the Nou Camp club but feels unhappy and unwanted and is therefore ready to demand a move to the Bernabeu.
Clearly such a move would be a contentious one and will be one that will result in the player in question getting a fair few death threats, and who knows perhaps he’ll suffer the indignity of having a pig’s head thrown in his direction, in the style of the welcome Luis Figo received when he made a similar switch.
So assuming there is a grain of truth to this story, which is a big leap of faith in itself, who could the player in question be? Perhaps forward Pedro who has found his first team chances at Barcelona limited by the arrival of Neymar and the excellent form shown by Alexis Sanchez. Perhaps it’s keeper Victor Valdes? But then the keeper wouldn’t really have to ‘demand’ a move as his contract at the Catalan club comes to an end next summer anyway.
