Stamford Bridge side line up move for Villa Park forward.
Aston Villa are reportedly expecting a great deal of interest in striker Christian Benteke in January with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham said to be lining up bids according to Sports Direct News.
The 22 year old threatened to leave the Midlands club over the summer but was persuade instead to put pen to paper on a new deal though this has perhaps merely pushed up his valuation as opposed to bringing an end to interest in his services.
Indeed Aston Villa are apparently ready to listen to offer of £35m for a player they signed for £7m just 18 months ago and such is the player’s form in the English top tier that such a price-tag is by no means inflated.

Chelsea’s need for extra striking options is clear for all to see, with Blues quartet Samuel Eto’o, Andre Schurrle, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba managing just four goals between them thus far this season.
Benteke’s 19 Premier League goals last season essentially kept the club in the top flight and the powerful forward has proven that was no flash in the pan by scoring five goals in ten appearances in all competitions thus far this term.
The chance to join compatriots Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois may well be an added incentive to pursue a move to Stamford Bridge.
