The 19 year old has impressed since his move to Goodison Park though he has only been restricted to substitute appearances and it is clear the teenager is a player with a bright future and the Spaniard appears ready to make a move to the English top tier on a permanent basis.
It’s clear that Gerard Deulofeu will continue to struggle to make an impact at the Nou Camp given the summer arrival of Neymar and the excellent early season form displayed by Alexis Sanchez and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is known to retain a real interest in the Spanish Under 21 international.
The Barcelona youngster is clearly enjoying his tie in England, stating in a recent interview;
“I feel fabulous. I relish taking to the field in the Premier League. If I were a supporter I would pay good money to watch it.
“The passion of the fans in England is spectacular and, to be honest, Spain cannot compete with it.”
A move for adaptable attacker, who can play out wide or in a central striking role, would adhere to Liverpool’s youthful transfer policy and given that Fabio Borini doesn’t appear to be part of Brendan Rodgers’s long term plans and Iago Aspas’s poor form since moving to the Merseyside club, there is perhaps scope for a move to sign the flair player on a permanent basis next summer.
