A move to bring the 27 year old to White Hart Lane is apparently ‘all but agreed’ as Andre Villas-Boas prepares to reunite with his former FC Porto charge.
Villas-Boas opted to loan out Benoit Assou-Ekotto to QPR and saw Danny Rose suffer with a foot injury which has led to Belgian Jan Vertonghen being used at left-back but it appears that the Tottenham manager is ready to welcome in Pereira to step into the breach.
Pereira has fallen down the Inter Milan pecking order and is apparently very keen on moving to North London to rekindle his relationship with Villas-Boas.
The attack minded full-back spent three years at FC Porto and helped the club to a treble in the season Villas-Boas was at the helm.
