Liverpool to Fly Luis Surez Back from World Cup Play-Off In John W Henry’s Own Private Jet

Check in to Everton vs Liverpool

Liverpool’s principal owner John W Henry will use his own private jet to fly superstar forward Luis Suarez back from Uruguay in time for the Merseyside derby this weekend, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The in-form front man lines up for Uruguay in the second leg of their Fifa World Cup play-off tie against Jordan in Montevideo on Tuesday night, although the match does not actually kick off until 23.00GMT.

And in order to ensure that Suarez gets back to Merseyside on Thursday, instead of Friday, the Liverpool supremo is lending the 26-year-old the use of his own private jet, which will fly from Boston to pick the Uruguay international up and then take him back to the UK.

Brendan Rodger’s in-form outfit take on city-rivals Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Saturday lunch time, with the Merseyside derby getting under way at 12.45GMT, which is why having the prolific striker back at the club’s Melwood training ground a day earlier than expected will be a huge boost to the Northern Irishman.

Suarez has been in electric form since returning from a ten-game suspension, scoring eight goals in just six Premier League matches.
