The young Welsh international has impressed many with his mature displays since breaking into the Swans first team set-up and Moyes is ready to make a move for the 20 year old as his pursuit of both Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao and Everton’s Leighton Baines have thus far failed to come to fruition.
Davies is into his second season in the Liberty Stadium first team and is a regular under Michael Laudrup and has made 52 appearances for the club and also has nine national team caps to his name.
32 year old Man United full-back Evra is expected to leave the club in the summer with interest from Ligue 1 big spenders PSG and AS Monaco being strong. David Moyes does not appear to see Dutchman Alexander Buttner as a viable man for the job.
