Serbian stopper could be on his way back to Italy.
Italian giants Inter Milan are set to rival Juventus in the pursuit of Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Koralov when the transfer window reopens in January, despite having failed to land his signature over the summer, Sports Direct News reports.
Koralov is still held in high regard in Serie A since signing for City in 2010 from Lazio, where he made a name for himself as a youngster, and rumour has it that Manuel Pellegrini could be willing to let him move on in the new year.
The Serbian international is currently behind French ace Gael Clichy in the pecking order at the Etihad, and though he is capable of showing momentary fleetings of genius by thundering goals with his howitzer of a left boot, his all round game is not at the level required by the Citizens to sustain a regular starting spot.
Serie A champions Juventus have previously registered an interest in his signature, though it could now be Inter Milan who step up their own pursuit of the player over the coming weeks.
A return to Italy could prove tempting to Koralov as Pellegrini is set to step up his search for a new left back, suggesting that his days at the club are finally numbered.
