French midfielder given huge release clause.
Manchester United and Arsenal have been given fresh hope in the chase to sign midfield ace Paul Pogba after it emerged that the new contract being prepared for him by Italian giants Juventus will have a £50m release clause installed in it, according to Sports Direct News.
The French ace was in fine form last season as he helped the club to the league title, and he has carried on with the same level of consistency into the current campaign and has even before an established member of the French national team in the process.
The 20-year-old joined Juve from Manchester United in the summer of 2012 after he failed to break through into the first team squad at Old Trafford, but they have now apparently seen the error of their ways and are hoping to bring him back as David Moyes searches for additions to his midfield.
Arsenal are also keen on bringing him on board and Arsene Wenger is a known fan.
Pogba scored a sensational volley at home to Napoli as Juve continue to chase early Italian leaders AS Roma but Juventus are now preparing to fend off a number of offers regardless of whether he signs the contract on offer or not.
