Old Trafford side once again pursue talented playmaker.
Man United are once again heavily linked with interest in Dutch international Wesley Sneijder and Sports Direct News believes that the Old Trafford side is ready to offer a winger Luis Antonio Valencia as part a bid to land the Galatasaray star.
The 29 year old has proved a successful addition to the Istanbul side’s squad, helping Galatasaray to the Champions League quarter finals last term as well as a domestic title. New boss Roberto Mancini would be loathed to lose the former Ajax and Real Madrid man but the offer of Ecuadorian wide-man Valencia may tempt the Italian manager.
Valencia has had a fairly flat season thus far and like a number of other wide attackers, Nani and Ashley Young included, David Moyes may well be ready to use his under-performing stars as makeweights to secure new additions to help put his stamp on the Man United squad he inherited from Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer.
Sneijder moved to Galatasaray in January after a stuttering end to his Inter Milan career, which has started promisingly with a treble in his first term at the San Siro. The talented playmaker has scored nine goals in 29 appearances for the Turkish side.
