The highly rated Argentina international has been attracting the attentions of a whole host of big-name clubs from across the Continent in recent times, with both Premier League side Arsenal and Serie A outfit AC Milan having been linked with Perotti of late.

However, it is now understood that Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas is keen to bring the 25-year-old to White Hart Lane at the turn of the year as the Portuguese looks to add more creativity and invention to his side’s midfield.

Perotti has been with the Southern Spanish side since 2009 now, during which time the talented winger has managed to find the back of the net on 16 occasions in total in his 155 Liga outings for the club.

“A transfer is definitely possible in the winter market,” said Perotti when questioned by the Spanish media recently about a possible move to the English Premier League.

“I’ve not been playing well recently and I need to find my best form, but something could happen.”

The Argentinian is contracted to Sevilla until June 30 2015 and it is understood that the north Londoners would be happy to pay as much as £8 million in January in order to secure Perotti’s signature.
