Check in to Norwich City vs Crystal Palace

Newly appointed Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis will seek to bring in Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes to assist in pulling the Eagles clear of the drop zone according to TuttoMercato.

The former Stoke City manager will no doubt be handed funds in the January transfer window with a view to strengthening his Selhurst Park squad and a move for much needed firepower would be a useful place to start.

Blackburn Rovers will be loathed to lose Scottish international Rhodes and are demanding £8m for his services, a fee that Crystal Palace may feel is a fair one to play as they look to prevent an instant return to the Championship.

23 year old striker Rhodes joined Blackburn Rovers in August 2012 in an £8m deal after three hugely successful seasons at Huddersfield Town and the lethal finisher has continued to bang in the goals, netting 38 goals in 65 appearances for the Lancashire side.
