Monaco striker Radamel Falcao couldn’t quite believe that he was taken off against Nantes at the weekend and expressed his disbelief as though it was the first time he had ever been substituted.
The big spenders put an end to a three game winless streak with a goal from Mounir Obbadi late on in the second half.
However, with the game still scoreless, coach Claudio Ranieri decided to take a gamble and bring his star man off, much to the Colombian’s surprise.
