Arsenal are reportedly tracking PSG attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi amid reports that the Argentine international is not happy at the Parc des Princes according to French source Le10Sport.

The 28 year old moved to the Ligue 1 big spenders back in July 2012 and played a relatively significant part in the club’s triumphant domestic title success but has found himself on the bench of late.

Indeed Lavezzi has made seven Ligue 1 starts out of 14 fixtures this season and has been subbed on each and every occasion, managing just one goal in the process.

Now Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to lure the adaptable forward to the Emirates Stadium, a move that would probably have to entail the North London club offering a fee in the region of the €30m (£25m) that PSG paid Napoli for Lavezzi.

Given that Lavezzi can play out wide as well as up front the PSG man could offer Wenger the opportunity to strengthen an attack that is perhaps light on numbers.

Lukas Podolski is still out injured and Theo Walcott has only just return from a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Gervinho was sold to AS Roma and as such it is perhaps Lavezzi’s ability out wide that might best interest Wenger.
