White Hart Lane side set for squad cull.
Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is ready to trim his expansive squad with three players set for the White Hart Lane exit in January according to Sports Direct News.

Key to Villas-Boas’s plans to strengthen in January is the need to free up space in his squad and to reduce the club’s wage bill and the Portuguese boss will look to sell Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor to help raise funds for another striker signing.
England man Defoe could well be do with some regular first team football so as to assist in his pursuit of a spot in Roy Hodgson’s 2014 World Cup squad and whilst the experienced striker has only started one Premier League fixture this season the 31 year old has netted nine goals in seven starts in Europa League and Capital One Cup action.
Moves to offload Adebayor may prove trickier as the forward’s obscene wage demands are perhaps putting off prospective interested buyers from considering an approach.
The Spurs manager also wants to sell Belgian midfielder Moussa Dembele, with Newcastle United and Aston Villa both said to be keen on the former Fulham man.
