Moyes is keen to add more creativity to his fairly brittle midfield and may feel that Pjanic is ideal for the job, with the former Lyon star being one of the Stadio Olimpico’s top performers this term, helping Rudi Garcia’s outfit to mount a genuine Serie A title challenge.
AS Roma could well do with fresh striking options though, with both Pablo Osvaldo and Erik Lamela leaving for Southampton and Tottenham over the summer, so the offer of Mexican international Javier Hernandez may well tempt Garcia, not least as Pjanic has been stalling over signing a new contract with his current deal set to end next summer when the Roma man could leave on a free transfer.
Man United signed Marouane Fellaini to help boost their midfield options but the Belgian is yet to really make an impact and has been used in a fairly defensively minded role so a move for Pjanic would certainly help Moyes in his push to improve his options in the final third.
