The 25 year old Danish international has found his way back into the Gunners first team squad following injuries suffered by Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott but is still unlikely to be a player Arsene Wenger needs come January and a move to Loftus Road may well tempt the Arsenal man.
QPR sit in third spot in the Championship but have only managed 18 goals in 16 fixtures and as such could benefit from an injection of attacking talent.
Bendtner has made no secret of his desire to secure a permanent exit away from the Emirates Stadium and has spent time away on loan at Sunderland Juventus in recent seasons.
A temporary switch to QPR may well suit all parties and if successful Bendtner could then in theory make a permanent move to the West London club.
Bendtner has scored 45 goals in 164 appearances for Arsenal.
