Star striker Suarez has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital ever since the summer when he looked to force an early exit from Anfield and they are expected to in for him again in the new year with a renewed £50m bid.
And reports have suggested that the Uruguayan striker is not the only player on the club’s wishlist and they will go the distance and spend a further £15m on Suarez’s teammate Philippe Coutinho too.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has been a big hit on Merseyside since signing on from Serie A side Inter Milan in January of 2012 and coach Carlo Ancelotti is a known admirer of his and will look to add the skilful playmaker to his already impressive roster of attacking talent.
The Real coach already has the likes of Gareth Bale, Isco and Angel Di Maria at his disposal but is looking for a player similar to what they had with Mesut Ozil, who left to join Arsenal over the summer.
Liverpool won’t want to lose two hugely talented players at the same time, but with Real’s spending power and Luis Suarez’s penchant for Champions League football they may be left with very little choice.
