Anfield side target move to sign Swiss international on loan deal.
Liverpool are readying a move for Bayern Munich youngster Xherdan Shaqiri as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his attack in January according to Sports Direct News.

The Anfield side are set to make a loan offer for the 22 year old, a move that could well be fruitful given the 22 year old’s lack of involvement in first team action under Pep Guardiola this term.
Shaqiri was considered one of the hottest prospects in European football prior to his move to the Allianz Arena but the speedy wide-man has struggled to make an impact at Bayern Munich and with the 2014 World Cup finals on the horizon the youngster may well be keen to secure regular first team football.
The former FC Basel man has made just three Bundesliga starts this season and has enjoyed just 25 minutes of Champions League action and as such could well be sent out on a temporary basis in January.
Rodgers opted to bring in Victor Moses in from Chelsea on loan but the Nigerian hasn’t been all that impressive and with Daniel Sturridge out for a couple of months there is certainly scope for boosting the Merseyside club’s attack.
