Inter Milan are preparing a surprise move to sign Man City striker Stevan Jovetic according to SportMediaSet.

The Montenegrin moved to the Etihad Stadium over the summer but has struggled with form and fitness and has found himself restricted to just one Premier League start whilst watching the likes of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo score regularly.

A move back to Serie A may well therefore tempt the former Fiorentina man if he feels his chances of making an impact at Man City are limited and the Nerazzurri have certainly improved under new boss Walter Mazzarri, losing just one of their opening 14 domestic league fixtures.

Prior to his big money move to Man City Jovetic had enjoyed two solid seasons in Florence, netting 27 goals in 58 appearances, though one would imagine that the Premier League side would demand a fee at least matching the £22m they forked out for his services just a few short months ago.
