The paper has the Merseyside club as favourites to land his signature after monitoring his progress for a number of months and they have been hugely impressed by his potential and the calm, assured displays he has shown in the youth team.

Kozak, a left-sided defensive player, has represented his country at a number of youth levels including under-15, under-16 and under-17 level and he is being tipped for a huge future in the game.

Liverpool’s chief scout Mel Johnson speaking told Fakt: “Milosz is one of the most talented players we are watching in Poland.”

Brendan Rodgers has a track record of recruiting young players with good potential as he continues to go about rebuilding the club with a new ethic and philosophy in a bid to make them a dominant force in English football once again.

Over the summer the club had recruited another young defender, the English-born Portuguese star Thiago Ilori, who has already been tipped to make a loan move away from the club after failing to force himself into the starting XI.
