The up-and-coming front man helped the La Liga champions’ reserve side overcome Sabadell 2-0 on Saturday to maintain his excellent form in front of goal so far in this campaign for both club and country.
In total, Sanabria has managed to find the back of the net on five occasions in his 15 matches in all competitions, and it is those kind of attacking numbers that have encouraged the Premier League leaders to keep close tabs on the 17-year-old of late.
Gunners head coach Arsene Wenger was first made aware of the striker’s impressive talents by his scouting department and having himself now also closely monitored Sanabria, it is understood that the Frenchman is pondering making a move for the player.
Arsenal, of course, have a recent history when it comes to luring young talent away from Camp Nou to the Emirates, with the likes of Jon Toral, Hector Bellerin, Cesc Fabregas and Fran Merida all having made the switch to the capital in the past.
