Old Trafford side want Bernabeu star.
Man United’s hopes of signing Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria may well depend on Carlo Ancelotti’s attempts to sign Liverpool hot-shot Luis Suarez according to Sports Direct News.
David Moyes is keen to improve on his current wide attacking options due to the average form displayed by Luis Antonio Valencia, Nani, Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck and the Scot hopes to lure Bernabeu star Di Maria to Old Trafford in January.
Ancelotti has used the 26 year old Argentine sparingly since Gareth Bale’s arrival at the club but will not be willing to sell the former Benfica man until he further strengthens his attack.
Liverpool are very unlikely to sell Suarez in the middle of the season and given the Anfield side’s fine start to the season there would be little reason for the Uruguayan to look to force the issue, a summer switch seems far more likely, which in turn would leave Moyes having to consider alternative targets.
Di Maria has scored just one goal thus far this season and has perhaps suffered as a result of Bale’s move to join the Spanish giants.
