Italian giants want Carrow Road star.
Serie A sides Napoli and Lazio are both taking a keen interest in Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer according to Sports Direct News.
The Dutch international has greatly impressed since his move to Carrrow Road in July, his rangy midfield displays being the highlight of the Canaries season to date.
Chris Hughton will resist offers for the 23 year old as he looks to guide his side clear of the drop-zone and towards mid-table security and as such will not want to lose such a pivotal performer.
Norwich City sign the FC Twente man on a four year deal and is still a part of Louis van Gaal’s national team plans but may perhaps feel that a high profile move to Napoli could lead to a more prominent role in his squad, all the more crucial with the 2014 World Cup finals on the horizon.
Fer has started 14 of Norwich City’s 15 Premier League fixtures this season and has scored three goals in the process.
