Manchester United head coach David Moyes was in the crowd at the Vincente Calderon on Wednesday night to personally run his eye over Atletico de Madrid midfield player Koke, according to reports on Inside Futbol.

The recently capped Spain international has really come to prominence of late after a string of eye-catching displays for his high-flying La Liga team, so much so that a whole host of big-name European clubs have been linked with him recently.

And the 21-year-old has carried on in the same impressive form so far in this campaign for Diego Simeone’s side, with Koke having managed to register three goals and 10 assists in total in his 20 matches in all competitions, including three strikes and nine assists in his 15 La Liga outings for Atleti.

As a result, it is expected that the Premier League champions will make a move for Koke when the winter transfer window opens again for business in the new year, especially now that the new Red Devils manager was seen in the crowd in the Spanish capital attending Atletico’s final Uefa Champions League group-stage contest on Wednesday.

The Spaniard does, however, have a contract with Atleti that runs until June 30 2108.
