Tottenham man please with his decision to head for London.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue has claimed that he snubbed a move to Liverpool over the summer in favour of a switch to White Heart Lane and has said that he is pleased to stand by his decision, according to the Daily Mail.

Spurs plays hosts to Brendan Rodgers’ side on Sunday and are looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four games. And if things had worked out differently, the France international could have been one of the faces in the visiting dressing room instead.
Liverpool were linked with the player back in 2009, but he decided to hold off on crossing the channel as he didn’t feel that he possessed the skill to handle the physical demands of the English top flight.
And though he has admitted that he was flattered to be linked to a club such as Liverpool he is pleased that he bided his time before making the move to Tottenham.
“It was the right decision,” Capoue said.
“I didn’t know that (Liverpool) in particular were interested in me but I knew that English clubs were.
“I came to Tottenham because it’s a very competitive club and it’s a strong club. It’s what I wanted.
“I want to get in to the Champions League here and also I had the confidence of the coach and the French-speaking players spoke very well of Spurs as well.”
