Manchester United boss David Moyes is set to gatecrash Arsenal’s interest in Paris Saint Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi when the January transfer window opens in a fortnight, according to reports in Sports Direct News.

The Red Devils are known to be looking into adding to their attacking options in the new year, and sources close to the club have suggested that Moyes is set to turn his attentions to the 28-year-old to help him bring the club back to the summit of the table.
The former Napoli man now looks set to leave the Parisian big spenders in the winter after falling out of favour at the Parc des Princes, but that hasn’t stopped a number of clubs from taking an interest and lining up potential moves for him.
Several Italian clubs are believed to be interested in landing his signature as he is still highly thought of in the country thanks to his time with the Neapolitan club, and Inter Milan are said to be considering a swoop now that they can rely on the spending power of new owner Erick Thohir.
However, United are still keen to try their luck and will press ahead with a move in the hope of trumping Arsenal to him.
