The current Ligue 1 champions are looking toward the highly talented Belgian wide man to complete a deadly attacking trio that would be comprised of himself, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani and will test Chelsea’s resolve by making a £34m bid in the new year.
French publication France Football are also trying to claim that Hazard attempted to bail out from Stamford Bridge over the summer, just one year after he joined the club from then French champions Lille.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a five year spell with Lille that saw him pick up a league and cup double as well as successive Player of the Year accolades.
