Ligue 1 giants set to bring in Spaniard after winter clear out.

Mata was voted as Chelsea’s Player of the Season last term after an impressive campaign, but he has so far failed to command a regular first team place under returning boss Jose Mourinho this time around and he has subsequently been linked with a move away either in January or at the end of the season.
PSG have been credited with a long time interest in his services, and will finally make their move for him in the new year but only if they are able to sell Jeremey Menez, Lucas Moura, Javier Pastore or Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Jeremy Menez will be entering the final six months of his contract at the Parc des Princes, whilst Lavezzi is known to be unhappy at playing a bit part role and has been linked with a move to Spurs amongst others.
Both Pastore and Moura have played bit part roles so far, and will look to move on at the earliest given opportunity.
