The 27 year old has admitted he wanted to play for a ‘bigger’ club after failing to hit the heights he reached in his stand-out first term in the English top tier.
This source claims that Arsenal are ready to make a move for the £15m rated forward in January with Arsene Wenger perhaps seeing Michu as the ideal man to provide some much needed attacking support as the Gunners push for a Premier League title.

“Every player dreams about playing in big teams; clubs that play in the Champions League and fight for titles and I am no different,” Michu told Marca.
“But it is true that I feel very good here, the boss gives me a lot of confidence and I’m surrounded by Spaniards. I am very pleased and very happy at Swansea but it is obvious that every player wants to grow up and see how far you can go.”
