QPR boss Harry Redknapp is keen to link-up with his former charge Peter Crouch according to TuttoMercato.

The Loftus Road boss may well feel that the addition of the hugely experienced England international would further aid his push for an instant return to the top flight.

That said the West London side are fairing well in the Championship and currently sit top of the table though have scored just 24 goals in 20 fixtures thus far this season, less than any other side in the top eight.

Crouch has scored two goals in 13 Premier League fixtures this season and is into his third campaign at the Britannia Stadium and may feel it’s the right time for a fresh challenge.

The 32 year old spent a season at QPR over a decade ago during which he netted 12 goals in 47 appearances.
