AC Milan are reportedly keen on bringing in recently sacked Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas to replace Massimiliano Allegri as manager of the San Siro side according to the Daily Mirror.

The Portuguese manager was axed earlier this week following a series of poor displays culminating in an embarrassing 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool and the 36 year old is seemingly a wanted man and one would imagine that the former Chelsea boss would jump at the chance of another high-profile job.

Allegri guided AC Milan to a Serie A title in his first season in charge of the club but following finishes of second and third spot have led to pressure mounting on the former Cagliari manager.

This season has proved something of a disaster with AC Milan struggling for form and the Rossoneri currently sit way down in tenth spot in the table, a massive 24 points off leaders Juventus. Indeed has the club failed to book a path to the last 16 of the Champions League then one would imagine Allegri would already have been sacked.
