28 year old Uruguayan Pereira is out of favour at the San Siro and a move back to FC Porto would perhaps interest the wide-man and David Moyes then wants to bid for Sandro, who he feels would be an ideal replacement for French veteran Patrice Evra.

The 32 year old is out of contract next summer and Alexander Buttner is not seen as a viable replacement and with moves to capture Leighton Baines stalling a move to bring in Sandro may well prove the most likely option for Moyes to consider.

Sandro moved to FC Porto in July 2011 in an £8m deal but is likely to be valued at far more by the Primeira Liga side, who are well known for making massive profits on player sales.
