The £30m signing is yet to score a Premier League goal, though has only started three fixtures, and has as a result been strongly linked with an immediate return to the Italian top tier.
The Argentine had an excellent season at AS Roma last term but has failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane and as well as interest from Juventus the likes of Napoli and Inter Milan also said to be interested om acquiring the 21 year old.
Interest from Juventus is perhaps hard to fathom given that Antonio Conte brought in both Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente over the summer and can currently also call upon Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella, the quartet having scored a solid 18 Serie A goals between them this season.
A lot could depend on how newly appointed boss Tim Sherwood rates Lamela as well as just how much Juventus would be willing to offer for the big money signing, a loan deal would appear to be of little interest to the North London club.
