The Old Trafford side are known to be interested in the in-form Spanish international but may be scared off by the massive €60m (£50m) price-tag placed on the 21 year old by the Vicente Calderon side, who are well known for cashing in on their top talents.

Only Cesc Fabregas has provided more assists in La Liga action than the 21 year old midfielder who is likely to be selected in Vicente del Bosque’s 2014 World Cup finals squad.

David Moyes may well be keen to bring in some fresh midfield options in view of the average form and injury concerns suffered by the likes of Anderson, Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher though will surely not stump up £50m to land Koke, who though a player with great potential is not worth such an inflated fee.
