Premier League giants Liverpool are now “99 per cent sure” to sign in-demand FC Basel wide man Mohamed Salah when the winter transfer window opens again for business in the new year, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The Reds have been keeping close tabs on the highly rated Egypt international for some time now, with head coach Brendan Rodgers having sent his scouting team out to Switzerland on numerous occasions already so far in this campaign in order to run the rule over Salah.
And the reports that Rodgers has got back on the winger have been so positive that the Northern Irishman is said to now be determined to push ahead with plans to bring the 21-year-old to Anfield next month, with Salah’s international team-mate Mohamed Zika even now claiming that a deal for his compatriot to move to Merseyside is “99 % sure to happen”.
Salah has been in outstanding form for the Swiss champions so far in this campaign both at home and abroad, with the player especially managing to catch the eye with his displays for Basel in the group phase of the Uefa Champions League.
In fact, Salah even netted in both of Basel’s shock wins over Premier League outfit Chelsea.
