Player wants to remain in the capital instead.
In-demand Tottenham Hotspur midfield player Sandro has confirmed that he will be staying at the north London club after all when the winter transfer window opens again for business in the new year, despite interest in the Brazilian from a whole of big-name Serie A clubs, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The highly rated Brazil international has been heavily linked with a switch to either Italian giants Inter Milan or AS Roma next month, with both outfits said to be desperate to land the player in January.
However, despite this reported interest in his services, Sandro has now come out to reveal that he has no intention whatsoever of departing White Hart Lane in the January window, with the 24-year-old insisting that he instead wants to help the club finish the campaign in the top four of the Premier League, and with it gain a place in next season’s Uefa Champions League.
“I have heard that Inter and Roma want me but I’m happy here at Spurs. I have had no concrete contact with anyone and nor do I want any, although, of course, it is nice to be appreciated,” said Sandro.
He added: “Of course we still want to win the Premier League. For now, though, the real goal is a place in next season’s Champions League. I felt for Andre but everyone knows that in football it is results that matter.”
Sandro moved to Tottenham from Internacional in August 2010 for undisclosed fee and is contracted to the club until June 30 2017, while the midfield player has since gone on to register two goals and five assists in his 80 matches in all competitions for the north Londoners.
