Man United boss David Moyes will apparently be handed a £100m transfer war-chest to invest in his Old Trafford squad and BT Sport has named a dozen talents that are on the Scot’s wish-list.

The Scot is ready to spend in the January transfer window and having finished 2013 with four straight Premier League victories Moyes will be buoyed by the club’s willingness to back him financially in the transfer market.

Moyes believes he needs a minimum of three additions to have any chance of helping his side to secure major silverware in his first season in the post.

Ross Barkley (Everton)

The young England man is apparently the Man United manager’s top transfer priority and clearly Moyes knows the Everton man from his tenure in charge of the Toffees.

Roberto Martinez has stated he has no intention of selling the 20 year old though this may not stop Moyes from making a big money offer knowing full well that financial stability is key for chairman Bill Kenwright, having previously seen top players sold to balance the books when he was manager of the Merseyside club.

Everton Ribeiro (Cruzeiro)

The talented Brazilian is seen as a replacement for Japanese international Shinji Kagawa, who is likely to leave after failing to make the grade at the Premier League club.

Ribeiro has apparently talked up the possibility of making a move to Man United and is perhaps one of the most likely additions Man United could make next month.

Koke (Atletico Madrid)

The 21 year old Spanish international is in fine form and is valued at a very affordable £18m by this source, the Vicente Calderon midfielder has racked up eight La Liga assists this season, only Cesc Fabregas has produced more this season.

Ander Herrera (Athletic Bilbao)

A long term Man United target and a player who could well be tempted by a move to Old Trafford though Moyes was quoted an inflated £30m price-tag for the box to box performer when he previously showed an interest in Herrera.
