Spurs ace to miss new year schedule.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho will be missing for the next month after picking up an ankle injury during his side’s 3-0 victory over Stoke City at the weekend, according to Sports Direct News.

The £17m summer signing from Corinthians put in a good account of himself during the first half of the game against the Potters, but was forced off during the second half after yet another heavy challenge from Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam.
The Scottish international has a worrying record of committing heavy fouls against Spurs players, and he has continued that worrying tradition once again. He has, however, insisted that he is does not set out to deliberately injure Spurs players despite having so many marks next to his name.
He tweeted: “Just for the record and to the people tweeting me abuse saying so, I don’t and never have had anything against Spurs. And I would never intend to injure a fellow professional.”
The Brazilian playmaker will now miss the next four weeks worth of games, including the club’s third round FA Cup tie against arch rivals Arsenal next week.
