Having seen his side crash to yet another home defeat, the fourth of the Premier League season, David Moyes may well feel that he needs to strengthen his squad in January.

This source claims that a move in the region of €50m (£41m) could be on the cards, which would represent a club record for the Premier League title holders.

Reus has been a consistent performer at the Westfalenstadion since moving to Dortmund 18 months ago but may be tempted by a move to Man United in view of Jurgen Klopp’s side struggles this season.

Borussia Dortmund sit in fourth place in the Bundesliga, 12 points off top of the table Bayern Munich who also have a game in hand, and only just scrapped through to the last 16 of the Champions League.

Man United have successfully brought in Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund and may fancy their chances of doing likewise with 24 year old Reus.

Moyes may see Reus as an ideal addition that could link Man United’s midfield and attack whilst also offering a fresh goal-scoring threat.

The talented attacking midfielder has scored an impressive 31 goals in 72 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
