The 26 year old attacking midfielder sits very high up on David Moyes’s January transfer wish-list and would certainly be an ideal capture as the Scot looks to add some much needed creativity to his midfield, however how likely is such a move to succeed?

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is unlikely to be looking to sell the Chilean though Man United will offer the former Bayer Leverkusen man a huge pay rise.

Vidal only recently signed a new contract with his Juventus employers but having seen the club dumped out of the Champions League at the group stage perhaps he doubts the club’s ability to dominate outside Italy.

It would still be something of a coup if boss David Moyes managed to pull off the deal, Vidal having only signed a new deal at the club last month.

Moyes has also been linked with youngsters Ross Barkley and Koke, from Everton and Atletico Madrid respectively, as he seeks to breath some life into his fairly brittle midfield.

Marouane Fellaini failed to make an impact since moving from Everton, and is now out injured, Darren Fletcher continues to recover from illness, Tom Cleverley and Anderson have been out of sorts though Moyes has at least seen Michael Carrick return to full fitness in recent weeks.

Vidal offers a very real goal threat from midfield and provides a great deal of invention and has helped Juventus to Serie A success.

The intelligent midfielder has racked up 33 goals and 19 assists in 97 appearances for the Italian giants.
