Man United are reportedly scouting in-form Real Sociedad duo Antoine Griezmann and Inigo Martinez according to Tribalfootball.
David Moyes sent scout Robbie Cooke to run the rule over the pair as the Basque side eased past Athletic Bilbao 2-0, a win that sees Real Sociedad continue a fine run of form.
French winger Griezmann has been in sparkling form this term, scoring 12 goals in 16 appearances and the youngster may feel a high profile move to Man United would aid his push for a call up to the senior national team set-up.
With the likes of Ashley Young and Nani failing to make a consistent impact and Luis Antonio Valencia rarely being a goal-scoring threat interest in Griezmann is understandable.
22 year old centre-back Martinez has also been in solid form this term and has as a result forced his way into Vicente del Bosque’s Spanish national team squad just in time for the forthcoming 2014 World Cup finals.
David Moyes may well feel his back four could do with freshening up as Rio Ferdinand is likely to leave the club in the summer when his current contract comes to a close and there are big long term fitness doubts over Serbian Nemanja Vidic.
