Liverpool face some stiff competition to land Fenerbahce full-back Caner Erkin after his agent confirmed that there are a number of Premier League sides interested in landing his signature, the Daily Star reports.

The Turkish international has been in terrific form for his club side so far this season helping his side to the top of the Super Lig table.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to add another full-back option to his current roster and has been keeping an eye on Erkin as his contract with Fenerbahce expires at the end of the season.
However, Erkin’s agent Batur Alt?parmak, has revealed that Liverpool are not the only club looking to do business for the 25-year-old and has insisted that a number of other Premier League clubs have also been in touch.
“A few Premier League clubs have been scouting Caner and a few are interested,” he said.
“However, no offers have been made yet.”
Liverpool’s first choice, Jose Enrique, is set to be missing until later this year, whilst Aly Cissokho has failed to impress during hisloan spell from Valencia.
