The Frenchman has been in astonishing form this term, netting 12 goals in 15 La Liga starts and helping his side to maintain a genuine push for a top four finish.
The youngster has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium on a number of occasions but Arsene Wenger may well be keen to finally make such a switch a reality following the long term injury suffered by England man Theo Walcott.
Griezmann certainly exemplifies the spirit in which Wenger likes his players to play, with the Sociedad man an excellent flair player who can make something out of nothing and the 22 year old will know that a high profile move to Arsenal would greatly aid his push for a first call-up to the senior French national team set-up.
Indeed a January move could even give the attacker hope of a spot in Didier Deschamps 2014 World Cup finals squad.
There is perhaps an added need for further wide attacking options in view of Lukas Podolski’s injury concerns, especially as Gervinho was sold over the summer to AS Roma.
Griezmann is into his fifth season at Basque side Real Sociedad and has racked up 177 appearances for the club, scoring 46 goals in the process.
