Craven Cottage boss Manager Rene Meulensteen has been handed a transfer fund boost by owner Shahid Khan and has his sights set on raiding fellow relegation threatened side West Ham, with Sam Allardyce’s side floundering after a series of embarrassing defeats in both league and cup competitions.

The West London side are to offer £7.5m for the duo, a fee that seems far too low to have any chance of success, and West Ham will have to persuade both midfielders that staying at Upton Park is in their best interests.

Meulensteen knows Morrison well from his time at Man United and will hope to tempt the England Under 21 international into moving to Fulham and will look to trigger Diame’s £3.5m release clause with the Senegal international said to be unsettled at West Ham.
