The former Tottenham midfielder has been in charge of the north London club since former boss Andre Villas-Boas was given his marching orders last month following a 5-0 home loss to rivals Liverpool in the Premier League.

Initially Sherwood was only handed the managerial reins on a temporary basis, however, the 44-year-old was then given an 18-month contract after greatly impressing chairman Daniel Levy in the role.
